Ubisoft and GameTrailers sued over Assassin’s Creed

Posted By | On 18th, Apr. 2012

There’s a lawsuit for everything nowadays, as a man has sued Ubisoft for copying the central theme for Assassin’s Creed 3.

He believes he invented the concept of going back through memories to see how your ancestors were like.

He apparently has a copy right for all of that. Wonder why he sued after Ubisoft had put out 3 successful games and not before? Did he hear about this now?

But he could have a case as he’s the author of a novel called Link which was published in 2003. His name is John Beiswenger and he means business.

So what has that got to do with GameTrailers? He alleged that they showed this trailer in 2010 which they shouldn’t have… yeah okay.

Here are the juicy court documents, and do you believe that he may win this? I definitely do not. Tell us what you think in the comments section below.
