Jason Rubin who founded Naughty Dog becomes the president of THQ

Danny Bilson has been outed from THQ, and Jason Rubin, who founded Naughty Dog, has become the president of THQ.

I certainly didn’t see this coming. Rubin will be responsible for all product development, marketing and publishing operations, and his experience in the industry got him the job.

“Jason’s proven track record in the industry speaks for itself, and he is one of the brightest minds in the business,” said CEO Brian Farrell.

“We believe he can be a game changer and can contribute immensely to executing on our strategy of delivering quality connected core game experiences.”

It’s not mentioned why Danny Bilson left, but it’s been said that he did it to “pursue other interests”. This reason is similar to something like ‘irreconcilable differences’ during a divorce.
