Looks like Nintendo is kicking off E3 early this year. A day before the actual E3 event begins, Nintendo is amping up the hype and giving details on the Wii U in their own Nintendo Direct conference. And you will get all the details here. Even though the presser will be pre-recorded, I’m sure you guys will want the info as soon as it’s officially public. So stay on this page and keep hitting refresh to get all the latest info on the Wii U in the Nintendo Direct conference!

Please keep pressing F5 to refresh the page for continued updates.

  • 7 more minutes to go, people.
  • It’s begun! It’s on! Iwata’s blabbering about the furniture.
  • “This Nintendo Direct begins our E3 announcements, even days before our E3 conference comes.”
  • Dat accent
  • Iwata talks about how gadgets these days are more important to people than human relationships. To overcome that was one of the challenges while creating the Wii U.
  • The Wii U’s controller is called the Wii U GamePad.
  • The leaked redesigned controller is now official.
  • Analog sticks are clickable.
  • The Wii U has a TV control button, with which you can use a timer for the Wii U. It’s also a TV remote.
  • He’s talking about how the controller’s screen and the TV screen can work together.
  • The Wii U GamePad has gyro and motion controls. Obviously.
  • As mentioned last year, you can continue playing games on the controller screen even when the TV screen is being used for something else.
  • Wii U’s controller supports HD and has no lag.
  • The Wii U supports ALL previous Wii controllers.
  • Nintendo will also offer the Wii U Pro peripheral controller as an accessory.
  • Live walkthroughs during games. You can ask what to do next while playing games. The system detects if you’re dying a lot, so then you can ask the community to get live answers.
  • You can use the Wii U as a webcam while playing a game.
  • Hilarious, weird video playing.
  •  The Wii U main menu. Those Miis are not random. Those include your Mii, your friends’ Miis, Miis who speak your language and Miis who play the same games as you do. The comments shown on the screen are actual comments posted by the Miis.
  • A “universe’ for all Miis called Miiverse or Mii Universe. Share comments and everything. Like a social networking app but with Miis. Miiverse can be used while playing games.
  • Miiverse is also coming to the 3DS.
  • Dat accent (2)
  • The Wii U controller has a browser.
  • All content being shown on the Wii U controller can be shown on the TV screen with a simple flick of the finger towards the TV screen. However, you can block that feature, by closing a ‘curtain’ over the TV screen.
  • Looks like the USP of the Wii U is connectivity around the world. The perfect system for all #ForeverAlone people.
  • That’s it, that’s a wrap!
