10 Difficult Xbox Achievements That Are Not Worth It

The achievement has been one of the biggest developments of this console generation, and it has elevated the community features of Xbox Live, adding a new dimension to popular gaming culture. Some particularly difficult achievements have already risen to infamy in the short few years of this console cycle, and here are ten especially tough ones that just aren’t worth the effort required. 1. Half Life 2 Episode 2 – Neighbourhood Watch

There are plenty of tricky and obtuse achievements in Valve's awesome Orange Box, but this particular feat in the second episode of Half-Life 2 is easily the most frustrating. Achievable during the final set piece of the game, Neighbourhood Watch involves you preventing any of the 13 Striders from breaking through your defence. Easier said than done, as this is one challenge that will have you loading that auto-save time and time again. It isn't even worth that many Gamerscore points should you actually succeed.
