In this recent development diary for Deadlight, the developers discuss what went into creating the hyper-realistic, over-exposed atmosphere of the game.
The puzzler is published by Microsoft Game Studios and definitely has a more gritty feel to it than your typical zombie title. CEO and Creative Director Raúl Rubio Munárriz calls it “worn, dirty and raw”.
The team also detail the various logos they created for the name, the process behind the opening animation, and the psychological symbolism behind the cover art.
Deadlight is due for release on XBox Live Arcade on August 1st.
