A Nice Little Destiny Secret In The ‘Castle’ Show

Nathan Fillion was quite sly in his reference.

Destiny Hunter

While the dialogue in Destiny has never been a key factor in enjoying the game, there are some secrets here and there that fans of the game have long since found out. Nathan Fillion is someone who has become a rather prolific voice actor in video games, including taking on a character in Destiny named Cayde-6. The actor also has a role in Halo 5: Spartans and he’s one of the most beloved Science Fiction actors on television thanks to his turn on the cult classic Firefly.

One of the things that has made Fillion so popular over the years is that he has managed to allude to a few of the other shows he has worked on. He manages to do this with just enough subtlety that viewers know what they are looking for. The latest reference came in an episode of his very popular detective show, Castle. Anyone who doesn’t play the video game or know he’s a part of it likely had no idea that he was making a reference to Destiny, but his delivery alone would seem to indicate he was giving a slight nod to the game.

One eagle eyed Redditor pointed it out to the rest of the community and you can watch the video here. We don’t yet know whether Fillion will be reprising his role in Destiny 2. Of course, at this point, we don’t know exactly when Destiny 2 is going to be out.
