Earlier in the year we got a pleasant surprise with A Plague Tale: Innocence. A narrative-based stealth title, the game takes place in France during The Hundred Year War as well as the time of the Black Death, one of the worst documented plagues in human history that ravaged Europe. Those who haven’t gotten a chance to try it, or are a bit on the fence, now have a prime opportunity.

A free demo has been released for the game that allows you to play through the full first chapter. You’ll get to see the beginnings of Hugo and Amicia’s journey that’s filled with heartbreak and surprising twists. You can check out our review of the game through here.

A Plague Tale: Innocence is available now for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. The free trial is live now across all platforms. We’re also not the only ones who was pretty high on the game, as the game’s accolades trailer shows.
