A Plague Tale: Innocence was a nice surprise. A game with a mid-size budget without any real MTX or DLC, telling its own story in its own way. It really seems to have been quite the home run for developer Asobo Studio, who are very happy with the game’s sales and reception. Thankfully, they are also giving back in the form of a feature that was heavily requested before launch- a photo mode.

The Creative Director on the game, David Dediene, took to Twitter to thank fans and critics for their generosity and talked about recent and upcoming updates to the title, and one of those updates is photo mode. The game looks great, especially for its budget, and has several very nice locations, ranging from lush forestry to grim and decrepit castles- so the photo mode should be a popular addition. You can see the video below.

A Plague Tale: Innocence is available now for PlayStatin 4, Xbox One, and PC. The photo mode will come some time at the end of this month, presumably for all versions of the game. You can see our take on the game here.
