Having a competitive online fighter like Sloclap’s Absolver is great, especially when you look at the game’s art-style and overall structure. However, post-launch support is also important and to that end, the developer has announced what players can expect in the coming months.
It first noted that all content updates will be free and features like 3 vs. 3, ranked matches and Spectator mode will make up the initial updates. New moves and Combat Styles will also be coming in the future.
Even more interesting however is the fact that players can open fighting schools in the game to create their own styles of combat. You can act as a mentor of sorts to other players, allowing them to use your Combat Deck and some more advanced moves than they normally play with.
Absolver will feature sparring and PvP with other players but will also have PvE co-op combat as well. It will still be possible to learn moves from other players via co-op as they gain experience and improve their skills and attributes. Absolver arrives on August 29th for PS4 and PC.
