Sloclap and Devolver Digital have announced that 3D action RPG/brawler Absolver will be releasing on August 29th for PS4 and PC.

Developed by former Ubisoft Paris employees, Absolver focuses on martial arts combat and features some slight MMO elements. The main focus is on battling with other foes using a mix of different combat styles. You can fight alongside friends, battle alone (PvE content has been confirmed) or even seek out a mentor to help train you. Along the way, new loot will drop and abilities will be learned to improve your style.

Speaking of which, a new trailer has been released showcasing the Combat Deck, which can be customized with moves, and the different styles players can use. These are Kahlt Method, Forsaken and Windfall. It’s honestly worth checking them out for yourself below.

Thus far, no price has been announced for Absolver. Sloclap also hasn’t confirmed whether there will be an Xbox One version, much less a Nintendo Switch release.
