Ace Combat 7 6

Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown marks the grand return of Bandai Namco’s dogfighting franchise. Many around the world are doubtless eager to take to the skies again and pilot their exotic crafts over the lands of the world. There are probably also those who are excited to shoot everything they are capable of shooting. It’s that second group that will be most excited with this newest trailer for Ace Combat 7.

This trailer focuses on the shooting mechanics of Ace Combat 7, putting the “combat” in “aerial combat”. The feeling of shooting at an enemy aircraft in Ace Combat as you both rush through the air is thrilling and fulfilling, and it seems like it will return in full form in this new game. The trailer also shows us a bunch of different weapons that will be at your disposal as you speed through the skies, which is always helpful for those of you who like some variety in their firepower.

Ace Combat 7 launches for PS4 and Xbox One on January 18, and for PC on February 1. If you want to get into dogfights with other players, make sure to check out the trailer for the game that shows off its multiplayer as well.
