Call of Duty Black Ops 3

Despite the fact that the current generation version of Black Ops 3 offers quite a lot of different content than the version for the Xbox 360 and PS3, Activision believes both versions of the game have a ton of momentum heading into Friday’s release date. During a recent financials conference call, Activision Blizzard’s CEO Eric Hirshberg talked about how excited the company is to see their newest game out on the market for the first time.

“The strong momentum is indicated by a number of factors, but just to name a few, the growing engagement across the past Black Ops titles, the significant year on year lift in pre-orders, consumer sentiment around our marketing assets, which is more positive for Black Ops III than any Call of Duty title on record. The great partnrship with Sony across consumer, trade and custom PS4 bundles, and our ranking as Nielsen’s number one most anticipated game title of the year.” Hirshberg said during a financial call. He added he thinks what the game has to offer is going to impress gamers.

“With innovations across single player, multiplayer, and of course, zombies, Black Ops III has more content, more surprises packed inside than any game we’ve made to date.” He said. With just a couple of days until this game hits the open market, it’s going to be interesting to see how well it can perform, especially on the current generation consoles. Call of Duty Black Ops will launch on the PS4, Xbox One, PS3, Xbox 360 and PC on Friday, November 6, 2015
