Activision Teases OldSchool Gamers With The Return Of Sierra

Activision teases the masses with the Sierra brand.

Something wonderful has happened. Activision have teased the return of the Sierra brand. The tease came in the form of a short trailer that sees an unidentified adventurer break into a run towards a mountain which then transitions into the easily recognisable Sierra logo.

Chances are if you’re older than 20 years old you’ve witnessed the glorious adventure games brought to life by the fan renowned studio Sierra. They are perhaps most popular for there “Quest” series which includes Kings Quest and Space Quest. Both of which recently came back into the spotlight after a number of high profile YouTube Let’s Play’s played them.

Iconic point and click adventure games that raised a generation were the bread and butter of Sierra who brought gaming to many a young person, but they were also instrumental in making the genre defining shooter Counter Strike a global smash hit that is still played competitively to this very day. And lets not forget Half Life, they had their fingers in that pie too…and Crash Bandicoot and Spyro the Dragon and the list goes on.
