Nintendo has released a new trailer for the upcoming turn-based strategy game Advance Wars 1+2: Re-Boot Camp. The 5-minutes long trailer focuses on providing a general overview of the game. The trailer also provides us with our best look at the gameplay for Advance Wars 1+2: Re-Boot Camp yet.
Since Advance Wars 1+2: Re-Boot Camp is essentially a remake of the first two Advance Wars games, it will feature two full-fledged story campaigns. Players can pick from different Commanding Officers to lead their armies, each with their own unique abilities.
The trailer also provides a quick tutorial on how the turn-based strategy gameplay of Advance Wars 1+2: Re-Boot Camp. It shows differences between infantry units, artillery units, and buildings. It also shows players how they can earn resources to produce more units to overwhelm opposing forces.
The trailer also goes into some of the new quality-of-life features of the game, including the ability to fast-forward through conversations and combat animations, and a reset turn option that allows players to re-do their latest turn.
Advance Wars 1+2: Re-Boot Camp will also feature the War Room game mode, which allows players to take part in different challenging battles to try and get top ranking. The game also features local and online multiplayer. Players can also create custom maps and share them online.
Advance Wars 1+2: Re-Boot Camp is slated to come out on April 21.
