Agents of Mayhem

Rather than waiting till E3 2016, Volition has gone ahead and revealed its new IP Agents of Mayhem. Saints Row fans may find a couple of things familiar with it.

According to Deep Silver, Agents of Mayhem features “an original storyline, trademark over-the-top open-world gameplay, and the look-and-feel of a distinctive superhero cosmos, Agents of Mayhem is a true Volition game.”

The Saints Row similarities aren’t a coincidence by the way. Deep Silver considers this a part of the same universe, sharing certain story elements, symbolism, and design inspiration with the multi-million selling franchise.” We’re not sure how much of the trailer (courtesy of IGN) is actually gameplay but we suppose E3 will provide more clues on the same in the coming week.

Agents of Mayhem will release in 2017 for PS4, Xbox One and PC. What are your thoughts on the first trailer? Let us know in the comments below and stay tuned for more details.
