Volition will be launching Agents of Mayhem later this year, a new gloriously over the top action game set in the Saints Row universe. While the game is technically notSaint’s Row game, it seems to retain a lot of hallmarks of that franchise, including glorious insanity, a whole lot of style, and full self awareness of just how ridiculous it is.

All of these traits are in full display in the brand new trailer for the game, which you can see below, which also makes a not-so-subtle reference to a very popular movie from the 1980s. You can check out the trailer for yourself below.

Agents of Mayhem will be launching next month, on August 15 for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC- make sure to let us know what you think of the trailer in the comments section below, and stay tuned to GamingBolt for more coverage and information.
