The Creative Assembly has already iterated its desire to create an Alien game that they’ve always wanted to play, and their upcoming Alien: Isolation is looking to test your wits and tolerance for horror much like the first film did.

Speaking to OnlySP, the developer stated that, “[E]ven if you’re a seasoned horror fan, you still appreciate the horror in the original film. The game is the same because that’s the inspiration and the impact we’re aiming for.

“Like a classic horror film, there will be moments of high impact and then moments for you to catch your breath and then you’re back in it. And never forget that really, you should always be afraid because you never know where the Alien is going to be.”

Published by Sega, Alien: Isolation is slated to release for PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and PC in Q4 2014. Are you looking forward to returning to the classic, claustrophobic roots of the series? Let us know below.
