Remember Aliens: Colonial Marines? The Gearbox developed title based on the famed science fiction franchise was mired in trouble and controversy, but it went on to be a commercial success nonetheless. The title is now due to get a new chapter for the campaign called Stasis Interrupted- the DLC is already available on the Xbox live marketplace, reports Eurogamer. As always, those with the Season Pass can get it for free, while others have to purchase it separately.
The new DLC is slated to tell the story of Hicks, recounting what happened between Aliens and Alien 3. “In this new campaign you play as 3 different characters through an interlocking story,” the product listing states. “Waking up unexpectedly from hypersleep, Lisbeth and others must figure out why the spaceship they are on, the Legato, has been diverted to intercept the Sulaco leaving LV-426’s orbit. Fight your way through the alien infested spaceship, find out what Michael Weyland is after and discover what truly happened to Hicks,” says the Xbox Live Marketplace listing.
No word on whether it is available on the PSN Store or Steam yet, but we’ll keep you posted.
