Aliens Colonial Marines “Survival” Trailer: What Goes Bump in the Night

Zombies? Ha! They’re like lost puppies compared to the Xenomorphs of Aliens: Colonial Marines, developed by Gearbox Software. Languishing in developmental limb for a good portion of it’s life, the game is on the verge of release and it looks as terrifying and heart-stopping as ever. Which is always a good thing, when it comes to trying to capture the essence of the Aliens universe.

A new multiplayer trailer has been released, showcasing the Survivor mode. It’s a straight-forward change: Basically, you and three other marines must enter a dark, abandoned facility and survive at all costs. The Xenomorph side, always a fan of awesome fun times, simply has one objective: Kill. Needless to say, they don’t get into too many parties, with or without invites. Check out the trailer above to see how well Survivor plays out.

Aliens: Colonial Marines is due to release on February 12th 2013, for PS3, PC and Xbox 360.
