20th Century Fox and Cold Iron Studios have announced a new co-op third person shooter set in the Alien universe. Aliens: Fireteam sees up to three marines battling against Xenomorphs in a fight for survival and will be releasing for Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PS4, PC and PS5. Check out the first trailer below.

Taking place during the original Alien trilogy, players will board the USS Endeavor and battle the Xenomorph hive. There are 20 different enemy types, ranging from Xenomorphs to Facehuggers and Praetorians. Each is described as having “their own intelligence to ambush, outsmart and eviscerate vulnerable marines.”

Players can choose from one of five classes – Gunner, Demolisher, Technician, Doc and Recon – along with over 30 weapons. You can customize these weapons with more than 70 mods and attachments. The classic assault rifle and flamethrower appear to be staples of the marines’ arsenal but expect even more to be revealed.

Aliens: Fireteam is out this Summer with more details to come in the meantime. Stay tuned for more updates in the meantime.
