Ravenholm is an iconic location in the Half Life universe, so much so that two cancelled Half Life 2 episodes featured it in some fashion or another. You’ve probably heard about how the zombies in Ravenholm are trying to communicate with you. If you take the actual sounds that they make and reverse them, the zombies can be heard saying words like “Oh God” and “God help me!”, thus indicating that there’s still some sentience left in there. Before Gordon Freeman dismembers them limb from limb that is.
