The old man’s most cryptic hints took 25-years to decipher
This just goes to show you that the Legend of Zelda was quite a complex game and still is to this date. Initially the hints that the old man gives you are completely useless. This is due to wonky translation issues from Nintendo. One of the most confusing hints was “10th enemy has the bomb. So finally after 25 years, player decoded that the hint meant you need to have a bomb in your inventory, and have to kill nine enemies without getting hit, then after you did that ridiculously impossible task you have to kill a 10th enemy with a bomb.
