We’re now at a point in the industry where video game consoles have become full multimedia capable devices, capable of streaming, playing movies, browsing the internet, and so much more. Back in the day, however, consoles were just boxes to play games on- here too, though, the PS2 was ahead of its time. Its ability to play DVDs may seem like something that shouldn’t even be worth mentioning in today’s day and age, but it was the first console ever that could do so.
