Super Mario Bros the lost levels was the true sequel to Mario Bros
Originally released in Japan in 1986 as Super Mario Bros 2,, the game was a lot of fun and though it didn’t support two-player mode the game at the start, it gave the players a selection between Mario and Luigi. The game was quite challenging for many players, but it was nevertheless a success. The North American and European 16-bit remake of Super Mario Bros 2 was released as part of Super Mario All-Stars for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System.
