Super Mario Bros. the movie was the first video game franchise based movie
If there is one thing that history had taught us, is that video game movies are a bad, bad idea. Of course the directors of Super Mario Bros the movie didn’t know that, because it was one of the first video game based franchise movies. The movie was a critical and financial failure; it was so bad that the actors regretted acting in the move in the first place. However many directors didn’t take this incident as a lesson and went on to give us Bloodrayne the movie.
