Watch Dog’s uses Disrupt Engine
Not many people are aware of the Disrupt Engine, so let me give you a little background info: The Disrupt engine is a game engine that was created in 2013 by Ubisoft specifically for Watch Dogs. Ubisoft managed create the engine from scratch, which was really quite impressive. But they also managed to utilize some components from the AnvilNext and Dunia engines, in where the both the engines where used in Assassin’s Creed 3 and the Far Cry 2 and 3 games.
