An Unknown Bloodborne Game Project is in the Works – Rumour

Whether it's a sequel or a remaster of the seminal 2015 original is unknown, as per a prominent leaker.

A sequel, a remaster, a PC port, hell, even a 60 FPS patch- Bloodborne fans have been desperately hoping for Sony to do something with the beloved 2015 action RPG for close to decade at this point, but the upcoming Astro Bot’s Bloodborne-themed references remain the closest we’ve come to returning to Yharnam thus far. It seems, however, that things may finally have changed behind-the-scenes.

That’s as per prominent leaker Daniel Richtman, who recently claimed on his Patreon page that an unknown, unannounced Bloodborne game project of some kind is currently in the works at Sony. Whether it’s a sequel to the FromSoftware title or a remaster of the original is unknown, as per Richtman, though if this is indeed happening, the safer money would probably be on the latter (presumably alongside a long overdue PC release).

Of course, this is far from the first time that we’ve had leaks and rumours about a Bloodborne revival of some sort, and thus far, they’ve usually led to heartbreak- so it might be best to tread with caution, at least until things become a little more concrete.

Richtman previously also claimed that Sony was working on a movie based on Bloodborne. Read more on that through here.
