Anarchy Reigns Trailer Showcases Chaos of Action Trigger Events

In case 15 other people on the battlefield didn't bother you.

Anarchy Reigns from Platinum Games employs a multiplayer online battle arena style of third person combat where up to 16 players can hash it out. Of course, the biggest threats aren’t always other players, as the new “Action Trigger Events” trailer showcases.

Whether you’re in danger of being caught up in a carpet bombing, disemboweled by a giant blade, nuked by the submarine Red October or just the Kraken’s next meal, the Action Trigger Events keep things fast and frantic as players work to fight off their opponents and survive the environment simultaneously.

Anarchy Reigns, published by Sega, is available for Xbox 360 and PS3. Check out our review of the game here, and despite “the redundancy of playing both sides” and little replay value, the game is fun overall and should keep you occupied with its online component.

And not that it’s a major selling point but did we mention it features the leads of Bayonetta and MadWorld duking it out?
