The latest weekly charts for boxed video game sales in the UK are in (via GamesIndustry), and Ghost of Tsushima, which had topped charts for three consecutive weeks following its launch, has relinquished its hold on the top position, dropping down to second place. It is replaced by Animal Crossing: New Horizons, which continues to see thunderous commercial success worldwide, with Nintendo recently having revealed that the game has sold over 22 million units as of June 30.

Other major Nintendo Switch exclusives are also in the top 10, including the likes of the evergeen Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Paper Mario: The Origami King, Ring Fit Adventure (which also recently crossed a significant milestone with over 4 million units sold worldwide), and Clubhouse Games.

FIFA 20, which had been oddly missing from these charts for a couple of weeks, climbs back up into fourth place, while other familiar faces like Minecraft and Grand Theft Auto 5 also figure in the top 10.
