In the last Nintendo Direct, the company promised new content for Animal Crossing: New Horizons. It’s now confirmed a dedicated Direct for the title to air on October 15th at 7 AM PT. There will be “roughly” 20 minutes of information about the upcoming content, which goes live in November.
Animal Crossing: New Horizons launched on March 20th last year and became the best-selling title in the series. It’s currently the second best-selling Nintendo Switch title with 33.89 million units sold as of August 2021. Updates have been mostly seasonal and limited-time in nature, which has attracted some criticism from fans.
Nintendo has already confirmed that fan-favorite Brewster and his cafe, The Roost, will be coming in the November update. So it’s possible that other big additions and returning characters could be en route. Stay tuned for more details and in the meantime, check out our review for the game here.
