Animal Crossing: New Horizons reclaimed the top spot in the weekly Japanese sales charts last week from The Last of Us Part 2, and as per newly revealed data for last week, the Switch exclusive has held on to that position, selling over 53,000 copies across the week. The aforementioned Th Last of Us Part 2, meanwhile, sees a second consecutive drop, falling to No. 6 with over 9,000 copies sold. Clubhouse Games continues to do surprisingly well, charting at second place with over 23,000 units sold last week.

There was only one new release in the top 10 last week, that being the Switch release of Atlus’ Catherine: Full Body. But though it enters the charts at ninth place, it hasn’t sold a great deal, with just under 7,000 copies sold in its debut week. The rest of the top 10 is dominated by familiar faces for these charts, including the likes of Ring Fit Adventure, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Super Smash Bros Ultimate, and Splatoon 2.

On the hardware front, the Switch is still the top-selling console of the week, but it has sold significantly less than it did last week, having moved over 52,000 units (as opposed to nearly 94,000 last week).
