The next free Summer update for Nintendo’s Animal Crossing: New Horizons is coming July 30th. It adds quite the bevy of new content, including fireworks shows and dreaming. More important, it brings island backup, which means that a player’s island and user data can be backed up online.

In the event of one’s Nintendo Switch being damaged or lost, the save data can be recovered with island backup. As for other content, the fireworks shows will take place every Sunday throughout August at 7 PM. You can also net some new festive items by spending Bells on raffle tickets and design custom patterns for fireworks.

Dreaming is a more interesting affair. When you go home and take a nap, you’ll be transported to a different realm. Someone named Luna will allow you to visit other islands in dreams and allows for sharing one’s own as well. Everything done in a dream is unsaved, so it’s meant purely for exploration.

Another free update will be coming this Fall, so stay tuned for more details.
