Animal Crossing: New Leaf Trailer Promotes Faux Tourism in Virtual World

That's...good. Maybe.

Nintendo has released a new trailer for Animal Crossing: New Leaf ahead of its release in North America and Europe. Narrated by a soothing voice, the “Tourism” trailer essentially tries to sell you on all the perks of living in the world of Animal Crossing by outlining all the activities you can do.

And this being an Animal Crossing, there is a ton of stuff to be done. You can catch bugs, dig up fossils, collect fruit, decorate your house, complete odd jobs, visit friends, help out the locales, go fishing and much more. We’re sure there a few classic Nintendo games waiting to be unearthed and played as well.

Releasing in North America on June 9th and Europe on June 14th for the Nintendo 3DS, Animal Crossing: New Leaf has already become a massive success in Japan, selling nearly 3 million units since its release on November 8th of last year.
