The latest limited-time event for Respawn’s Apex Legends starts on June 21st with the Awakening Collection Event. Its main theme is mechs versus monsters with various skins taking inspiration from Super Sentai, Ultraman and more. Check out the reveal trailer below.
A new Town Takeover is also coming with Lifeline’s Clinic, located on the eastern part of Olympus. It offers a Med-bay in the center which can heal any Legends standing in it. There’s also an Emergency Platform with a Care Package console that can provide better loot. Other features include the return of Control mode with World’s Edge joining the map rotation.
Like other Collection Events, players can collect 24 themed cosmetics including Legendary skins for Horizon, Fuse, Ash and more. These can either be purchased directly with Apex Coins, Crafting Materials or from special Apex Packs during the event’s duration. Collect all 24 to receive the newest Heirloom, Valkyrie’s Suzaku. Apex Legends is currently playable on Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5, PC and Nintendo Switch. It also launched last month for iOS and Android.
