Apex Legends Season 5 - Loba

The fifth season of the popular shooter Apex Legends will start tomorrow. Like all the seasons, it’ll come with its own unique changes to the map and gameplay mechanics, which you can read more about through here. But the big news is always the newest Legend you’ll get to play with, and this time around it’s Loba. One day away from the launch of Season 5, we got the breakdown of the new lady on the block.

Loba’s big focus seems to be on traversal as well as getting all the loot she can. Her tactical ability lets her throw a Jump Drive which she can then teleport to that allows a lot of creative and fun ways to traverse the map. Her passive ability allows her to see through walls, literally, when she spots Epic or Legendary loot. Finally, her Ultimate lets you place a portable device near you that sucks all that nearby loot to you and your allies, though be cautious, since enemies can also take advantage of this. You can see the full introduction trailer below, or read in more detail at the character’s web page through here.

Apex Legends is available now on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC, and Season 5 will begin tomorrow.
