Apex Legends is looking to be a key game for publisher EA in the next year. The free to play battle royale game will fill in the void for Battlefield 6 and Titanfall 3 for those who want to have their shooter fix. Today we got some new updates that will keep things fresh.

We already knew that Duo Modes and Firing Range was coming, and both are live now. Firing Range is a new practice mode where you can test out characters and weapons. Duo Modes will be a limited mode where it will be two players instead of three, making communication more of a key element than a regular game.

Apex Legends is available now for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. Duo Modes and Firing Range is live now across all platforms, with Duo Modes running until November 19th. The game will also release on mobile sometime in the next fiscal year.
