Respawn Entertainment’s first map for Apex Legends is making another comeback. From today till February 24th, players will be able to experience the original battle royale map. So if you’ve been getting a little tired of World’s Edge (which will still be available), this might be a good way to unwind.

King’s Canyon has been available temporarily during other events but that was a night version of the map. This is the original that debuted in Season 1 without all the changes and giant creatures that were added in subsequent seasons. In a way, it’s nice to go back and re-experience the classic environments, especially with all the new Legends and weapons that have been added since.

World’s Edge has seen its fair share of changes with the start of Season 4: Assimilation. Along with a giant machine installed by Hammond Robotics, the map itself looks far more chaotic than before. The season also saw the addition of Revenant, a Legend that could temporarily silence player abilities and reset deaths. You can read up more on ranked changes and the new “Sentinel” sniper rifle here.
