Apex Legends Leak Reveals Two New Characters

As well as a brand new survival mode, allegedly.

Respawn and EA are currently on top of the world thanks to the just-launched Apex Legends, the free to play battle royale game that seems to be making waves everywhere. However, getting off to a good launch is one thing—the more important thing is maintaining that momentum, and one reason fellow F2P battle royale title Fortnite has been able to do so is because of a number of great updates Epic Games has implemented over the months since the game launched.

It seems like Apex Legends itself may have some such updates planned, too. Posting on Twitter, the account Real Apex Leaks has revealed the existence of two new Legends, Octane and Watson. The former character has a slim injection of some sort, while the latter character seems to have an ability called Tesla Trap—but it’s unclear about what exactly these heroes will be like. Both were discovered as code among the game files, of course.

It also seems like a Survival Mode of some sort may be incoming to the game, too. It seems like the Survival Mode will have kill replays, and NPC hosts, which are separate from the playable Legend characters.

Whatever all of these leaks end up amounting to, it is clear Respawn intends to keep supporting the game, as they have promised they will, and as we have other indications of.
