Apex Legends – Map Rotation Changed, Nighttime King’s Canyon Removed

Players grinding The Old Ways event should have more time on World's Edge now.

Apex Legends - The Old Ways

With the launch of The Old Ways event, Respawn Entertainment’s Apex Legends offered a way for players to play King’s Canyon or World’s Edge. Unfortunately, since there are set times for each map being available – with the new event only taking place on World’s Edge – this led to some frustration for players. Respawn has thus changed up the map rotation in a number of ways.

Nighttime King’s Canyon is currently out and the amount of time that King’s Canyon will be in the rotation has been reduced. While the amount of time that World’s Edge will be available is unknown, players should see it pop up more often. This should allow grinding away the event’s challenges and earning its cosmetics in peace.

Those hungry for King’s Canyon can still hop into it directly on Ranked so it’s not like the map is downplayed completely. The Old Ways event is currently live until April 21st and introduced a new PvEvP mechanic which saw teams of three battling Prowlers. Read more about it here.
