April’s Xbox Live Games With Gold Lineup Includes Gears of War Judgement, Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag

It's a great month if you are an Xbox 360 owner. Xbox One owners don't have it too bad either.

For as far back as I can remember, Microsoft’s Games With Gold initiative, which was meant to be a riff on Sony’s PS+ Instant Game Collection for PlayStation owners, has lagged behind the competition in terms of its offerings. However, this month’s lineup looks rather sweet, offering a bevy of games that can at the very least be called good, and at best be called must have additions to your library.

Xbox 360 owners have it particularly good this month- the games offered to them this month include the excellent Assassin’c Creed IV: Black Flag, and the middling but still worth a shot Gears of War: Judgement. Xbox One owners don’t have it too bad either, as they will be getting Child of Light.

The full list of games available to Xbox Live Gold subscribers is:

XBOX ONE:

  • Pool Nation FX
  • Child of Light

XBOX 360:

  • Gears of War Judgement
  • Terraria
  • Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag
  • Army of Two: The Devil’s Cartel

Let’s see how Sony counters. Hopefully their offering this month will be as good as it was last month.
