XLGames and Kakaogame have announced that ArcheAge Chronicles will be coming to PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. The game, formerly known as ArcheAge 2, was announced with a trailer, which you can check out below. ArcheAge Chronicles is slated for release in 2025.
An online action RPG, ArcheAge Chronicles is set to have an emphasis on its real-time combat, featuring large-scale raids and co-op gameplay. Players will be able to take on a variety of activities, ranging from solo adventuring to grouping up to take on epic boss fights.
Alongside combat, ArcheAge Chronicles will also have an emphasis on Life Skills, which players can level up throughout their time with the game. These Life Skills will come into play when engaging in one of the game’s core features: player housing.
Players will be able to outfit their own homes in dedicated housing zones, decorating their houses with trophies, and even forming entire neighbourhoods with other players. Life Skills include farming, crafting, and trading. A sequel to classic online RPG ArcheAge, ArcheAge Chronicles will take place in the same universe, but will also include realms beyond what the original RPG had.
