Studio Wildcard’s ARK: Survival Evolved has only just released for Xbox One, PS4 and PC, finally making its exit from Early Access after years of development, but a new expansion is on the way. The developer announced Aberration, a new expansion which will retail for $20 and releases in October 2017.

Aberration includes new creatures like the Rock Drake, Lantern Pug, Nameless Queen and Cave Crustacean; more than 50 new items like railguns, glowsticks, explosive rounds, hazmat suits, ziplines, wingsuits, charge lanterns and so on. You can also look forward to challenges in the environment like earthquakes, gas leaks and whatnot.

If you own the game’s Season Pass, which is included in the ARK: Explorer Edition, then Aberration will be available to you when it releases. More information is still to be revealed about the Aberration expansion but you can check out the trailer below to see some of the new features in action.
