ARK: Survival Evolved Now Allows Windows 10 And Xbox One Players To Survive Together

Survive with friends across platforms thanks to new Windows 10 store launch.

ARK: Survival Evolved, the survival game you know as Minecraft with Dinosaurs, has just launched on the Windows 10 store today, granting it Xbox Play Anywhere bonuses such as cross buy and cross play.

The game has been out on other PC services for a long time now, so it’s hard to say how much of an impact this launch will have on the playerbase, but Studio Wildcard announced the launch via press release with a few other tidbits of information about the game. ARK is enjoying 12 million players across the 3 platforms the game is available on, which isn’t anything to scoff at.

In addition, the new Aberration expansion can be had to extend the experience with new creatures, biomes and new Engrams for a cool $19.99. If you haven’t experienced the game before now, perhaps Play Anywhere and the recent Xbox One X update will convince you to jump in.
