Armored Core 6 Fires of Rubicon

FromSoftware announced that Armored Core 6: Fires of Rubicon, its latest title in the mech combat action series, has sold over three million units. Sales figures have remained unknown since its launch in August 2023, with only voice actor Ryo Shimokawa reporting 2.8 million sold as of October 2023.

As a fresh start for the franchise, Armored Core 6: Fires of Rubicon focuses on pilot Augmented Human C4-621 as they arrive on Rubicon 3 seeking work. Various corporations and groups are fighting over the mysterious Coral, which suddenly re-emerged following a widescale disaster on the planet long ago.

Taking the call sign of Raven, 621 completes various missions while learning more about Coral and the vested interests of other parties. The title features many aspects of previous titles, from extensive customization and PvP, while adding faster combat and new mechanics like breaking and stunning enemies.

It also has New Game Plus, with new routes for the story. Check out our review for more details. Armored Core 6: Fires of Rubicon is available for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5, and PC.
