Armored Core 6 Fires of Rubicon

In a recent PLAY! PLAY! PLAY! event hosted by PlayStation Japan, FromSoftware showcased new gameplay for Armored Core 6: Fires of Rubicon. PvP was finally revealed, consisting of 1v1 and 3v3 modes, but there was also some new campaign and customization gameplay. Check it out below at 1:03:02.

The customization looks as impressive as ever, with different guns, legs, arms and more to swap out on your Armored Core. The mission itself consists of protecting three R&D missiles from waves of enemies. Along with smaller ships and Armored Cores, you’ll also have to battle a massive flagship.

A lot is happening, but the mission succeeds if at least one missile survives. Armored Core 6: Fires of Rubicon releases on August 25th for Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PS4, PS5 and PC. It’s reportedly 50 to 60 hours with side missions, the Arena, and more to indulge in outside the campaign. Stay tuned for more details in the meantime.
