FromSoftware’s Armored Core 6: Fires of Rubicon is ending the year by introducing ranked matchmaking for PvP. Players can battle each other in competitive matches for a spot on the leaderboard and even personalize nameplates to establish their presence. Check out the trailer below below.

Patch 1.05 also adds new parts for customizing one’s Armored Core and three new PvP maps to battle in. There should be PvP-exclusive balance changes on top of the usual bug fixes and changes, so stay tuned when the full patch notes go live tomorrow.

Armored Core 6: Fires of Rubicon is available for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5 and PC. It features a brand new story, set on Rubicon 3, with various corporations vying for control over Coral, a powerful but volatile substance. As Augmented Human C4-621, players take on missions for factions and ultimately decide the planet’s fate. Check out our review, where we awarded it a 9 out of 10.
