Armored Core 6 Fires of Rubicon

FromSoftware’s next big game might not be a Soulslike, but simply by virtue of being a major new FromSoftware game (and the long-awaited return of a cult classic franchise), Armored Core 6: Fires of Rubicon has generated its fair share of excitement in the lead-up to its launch.

And with that launch right around the corner now, publisher Bandai Namco is continuing to ratchet up the hype. It has released a brief new TV ad for the game in Japan, which, in its 15-second runtime, offers glimpses at some of the high-octane mech action the game will bring to the table upon its release. Plenty of explosive action is shown, while we also get a few shots of some of the massive, intimidating mechs you’ll be taking on in the game. Check it out below.

Plenty of new details have recently been revealed for Armored Core 6, with FromSoftware unveiling its PvP multiplayer, confirming that it will feature a photo mode at launch, and more.

Armored Core 6: Fires of Rubicon launches for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, and PC on August 25. Check out its PC requirements through here.
