ARMS Launches On Nintendo Switch In June

The next major release for the Nintendo Switch has been dated- ARMS will be launching on the Nintendo Switch exclusively come June. The game, which is a brand new fighting game IP from Nintendo, with a gleefully Nintendo like twist on the genre, is slated to launch on Nintendo’s new platform come June. Specifically, it will be available on June 16, 2017- that’s just a few days after E3!

ARMS, which can be played using either the Joycons’ motion functionality, or with standard controllers, is by the makers of Mario Kart, and aims to put a Splatoon-esque spin on fighting games. It has a lot of over the top action and super deformed characters duking it out for who knows what reason.

It looks fun – in my experience from my hands on with the game, it is fun- and should hopefully be another success for Nintendo. Sadly, we’ll have to wait a couple of months before we can play it.
