ARMS Receiving New Fighter in July, Spectator Mode in June

Max Brass joins the fight.

Nintendo’s ARMS scored pretty decently with critics and is now available for players to engage in spring-loaded fisticuffs. However, in just a few days after its release, Nintendo have announced the first free new fighter joining the roster.

Max Brass was revealed on the Nintendo of America Twitter account. Max seems to have an ability to make himself brawnier, perhaps increasing damage resistance of strength. We’ll find out what his abilities are next month when he arrives.

As for this month, players can look forward to a spectator mode. As per Nintendo Versus, this post-launch update will allow players to watch matches or spectate them in progress. Considering the recent tournaments Nintendo has been touting, especially at E3, a spectator mode couldn’t come soon enough.

We’ll update you on when exactly these new additions go live down the line. What are your thoughts on ARMS thus far? Let us know in the comments below.
