While there have a few leaks here and there about the next Assassin’s Creed game (reportedly titled Empire), Ubisoft is being quite careful about letting much information out. What the company has been willing to talk about is that production is moving right along.

The company recently held an earnings call where the firm said the work is going well but they weren’t ready to talk about a launch date. “We can’t say much about that yet. We are working hard on this game, and it will be launched when ready,”  CEO Yves Guillemot said during the call.

According to CFO Alain Martinez the game is ‘looking good’ but he couldn’t talk much about it beyond that. This next Assassin’s Creed game is expected to be coming in the next year, but there really hasn’t been a hint on when we can expect it. It doesn’t appear Ubisoft is ready to remedy that mystery just yet.
